Welcome to FWC, we would like to wish you all the best for the time you spend here with us.

Okay, down to business - you're new. Why not post here first and tell us a bit about yourself. Where do you live? What are your interests? Have you ever made your own movie before or written a novel? There's no doubt you'll be welcomed with open arms.

Now at first this place may seem very big and confusing, kind of like making your way around New York City. But don't worry, I'll give you a brief tour to get you started.

Myself and fellow moderators, decided we wanted to bring together two of the things we greatly enjoy in our lives: writing and movies. We set about this and decided to make a forum where we could express our opinions and post work while sharing with others in a positive environment. Therefore, at FWC you'll find a variety of topics specifically dealing with aspects of writing and movies.

First off - Site Interaction. We ask that you read and comply with the Rules and Guidelines before making any posts. Now, Site Interaction is the place to post if you have any problems with the site or want to give feedback. We will listen and attend to any problems. Also here you will find Site Announcements. FWC will sometimes change - new topics will be added and old ones may be deleted. Any major changes and minor as well will be listed here for members' convenience.

Community Interaction. This is where you'll probably start off, posting in the New Member Introductions and then joining in with some off-topic discussions in General Admission. Why not even have a go at some of the Word Games? We have the classics like Word Association, Riddles, and True or False. Perhaps you'll even be that elusive Last Post Wins?

Movies. This is a big section entirely dedicated to the world of movies. Post here for information on release dates or to discuss your favourite movies and even write reviews. You'll find the Top Ten topic will always have a list you fancy and may offer you a chance to see a movie you didn't know existed before.

Writing Issues. Got any problems with spelling, grammar and punctuation? Ask for help here. Why not even discuss your ideas for plot creation and character development.

The Reviewer's Cove. This is the place to post if you want something reviewed and critiqued. Dedicated members will read over your work for you and offer you with advice and areas of improvement. Topics include novels, poetry, song writing and scripts. However, we do advise against posting entire novels.

Short Stories. This is an extensive section where you can post all your short stories. Just make sure they match the genre.

Horror Writing and Movies and Sci-Fi/Fantasy Horror and Movies. These two topics are for discussion on famous authors of the genre, and the great directors, as well as the movie classics.

Contests. You'll find that once in a while there will be a contest. These are not limited to writing, there may also be movie quizzes as well as a range of other ideas we are sure to think of in the future.
