Code Of Conduct

Film and Writing Central (FWC) asks that all those who register with this forum abide by the following rules and guidelines:

1) Do not post any copyright material within these forums elsewhere without written consent from the owner. Plagiarism is NOT accepted and will result in banning and account deletion.

2) All posts made by Members are to be treated fairly as they are the opinion of the Member and said opinions should be respected and recognized. Any rude posts that express excessive swearing without good reason or are racist will be deleted by the administrator or moderator and, depending on the content, banning and account deletion may occur.
Note: swear words have not been censored to respect their use in peoples’ stories. However, outside of members’ work the words are not acceptable.

3) Spam is not tolerated on the FWC forums and all spammers will be labelled as spammers, providing they have shown signs of intellectual posting in the past. If this is the case, these individuals will be given a chance to improve their act. However, if no improvement is shown the result will be an instant banning. We do not have time for spam.

4) All users on this forum should not disclose their account information to anyone else. Nor should any personal information be handed out to other members – this is a serious safety precaution.

5) There should be no unauthorized advertising on this website. If a user wishes to advertise within this site they must clear authorization with an administrator by asking via private message. This includes advertising for your own website or company.

6) This forum is to remain on-topic. The subject of a certain thread is not to digress too much, unless it is a less serious thread such as inside General Admission or in Word Games. If a topic starts turning into another topic, then the poster should consider beginning a new thread on that topic.

7) Make sure that all topics you present to a particular forum are on topic to that particular discussion table. Keep all off-topic conversations directed into General Admission. Please make sure that you do not repeat forum topics, it is advised and greatly appreciated if you research throughout the board to make sure your topic has not already been covered.

8) No Flash Photography (we are joking, but really what is there to photograph?)

9) Inability to follow these rules will result in the banning of a user's membership for a short amount of time or account deletion.

This is a public forum, so please abide by the laws of common courtesy and try to keep the swearing at a minimum. This is a forum for those who want to help each other and receive opinions and critique on their work, as well as discussing current movies, upcoming movies and movies from the past.
